Progress Your Fitness With Time Under Tension – TUT

As a beginner it is very easy to plough through an exercise set as fast as possible.

And the difference between a beginner who does this, and a beginner who diligently focuses on their form, the range of motion of an exercise and the tempo of each repetition is… you guessed it… progress!

The humble beginner who focuses on proper form with moderate weights, will get better results than the beginner who comes in all guns blazing, and blasts through the session heaving weights that are heavy, but little thought and consideration to form and technique.

If an exerciser forgets to focus on form, the muscles will not benefit from the effects of overload, and positive adaptations will be limited at best.

Focusing on form is essential at any level, and today I specifically look at time under tension to stimulate adaptation and muscle growth.

I hope the video helps, and of course I am here to help.
